SALTED CARAMEL PROTEIN BALLS W/ WOMEN'S BEST

______________________________________________________

Finally a blog post - isn't that right? So today's post is about my current favourite treat - salted caramel protein balls. If you are like me (so basically the biggest sweet tooth ever) and you love sweets, chocolate etc. but you want something healthier then these protein balls are perfect.

Quick & super easy to make, simple ingredients & delicious.

Bear in mind that these balls are healthier (sweet) snack/treat but it doesn't mean that you can (of course you still can but you get me) eat all of them at once. These balls are not low in calories - one ball has around 80-100kcal, depends how big or small you make them.

These protein balls are meant to be as a treat, for example before/after a heavy workout session or if you just want to treat yourself maybe after long studying or working.

A little disclaimer: I am not telling you what you can or can not do but I am just letting you know that "healthy" snack/treat doesn't mean 0kcal.

Treat your body & yourself right!

TIPS

If you don't want to add honey you can make the balls immediately, the mixture will be just drier.  Also, be careful with the coffee, add it slowly, if the mixture is too liquidy you need to add more oat flour and it will be fine. If your protein powder has a strong taste to it, add less or vice versa. You can add chia seeds, coconut flakes etc - whatever you want. If you like crunchy texture then don't crush the nuts too much or if you prefer smooth texture then you can put them into a blender.
